Being from a seaside town, I’ve always been captivated by the waves and the force with which they break against the shore. That constant motion, both powerful and fleeting, has been a source of inspiration for me since childhood. This painting grew out of that feeling. It reflects the rhythm of the sea- the textured surface echoing the weight of the water, and the slow shift from deep blue to soft white capturing the moment when a wave rises, turns to foam, and disappears again. It’s my way of honoring the beauty of the sea- never still, never permanent, endlessly moving.
