Midnight Garden • Hypnotic captures a moment of movement, drawing the eye inward toward its center. The composition is built around a deep black surface, where fine white lines gather and circulate, creating a sense of rhythm and focus.
At the core, petal forms made from black and white clay emerge, forming an abstract midnight garden. Each element is shaped by hand, giving every form its own character while contributing to a larger, unified composition. The contrast between black and white, line and form, creates a hypnotic visual field, one that shifts as you look at it, suggesting movement, depth, and a subtle unfolding.
Like the other works in the Midnight Series, this piece explores clay in combination with other materials, allowing texture and composition to develop through an intuitive process.
